Muller 22 is a programme for the recruitment of unemployed women by companies, the self-employed and social economy organisations.
Called by the Consellería de Promoción do Emprego e Igualdade, the Programa Muller 22 creates incentives for the initial indefinite hiring of unemployed women who have particular disadvantages and difficulties in accessing or remaining in the labour market.
With a budget of €6 million, it will promote incentives of €6000 for up to 1000 women. The incentives will apply to initial full-time open-ended contracts concluded from 1 January 2022 until 30 September 2022 with unemployed women.
The contracting of the unemployed woman for whom the subsidy is requested must be an initial indefinite-term contract, including a permanent-discontinuous contract for a minimum of 9 months, and with a full-time working day. The amount of the subsidy will be 6000 euros, and in the case of permanent-discontinuous contracts, the amount of the subsidy will be proportional to the time worked.
Eligible beneficiaries are employers and companies, whatever legal form they adopt, including the self-employed, cooperatives and labour companies, which hire unemployed women, registered as job seekers with the Galician Public Employment Service, to provide services in workplaces located in the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
The application period will be open until 30 September 2022.
