This week, the Active Commerce Vouchersprogram is now active. It is an initiative of the regional government to reactivate local commerce. Each customer will have 30 euros that will be consumed based on the value of the purchases made at participating establishments in the Active Commerce Vouchers program.
Until May 15th , businesses operating as self-employed or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Galicia can join this program. Among other requirements, they must comply with COVID-19 prevention measures.
The system works through a mobile application , and the amount of each voucher will be deducted based on the purchase value: purchases equal to or greater than 30 euros will have a 5 euro discount, while purchases equal to or greater than 50 euros will have a 10 euro discount.
The vouchers will be valid for three months from their launch, and each business can redeem discounts up to a maximum of 5,000 euros..
