IGAPE has published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 124 on Thursday, June 25, 2020, the RESOLUTION of June 15, 2020, which makes public the Agreement of the Board of Directors approving the regulatory bases for aids to projects of Galician companies to ensure occupational safety and generate consumer confidence, eligible for co-financing by the European Regional Development Fund, within the framework of the Feder Galicia 2014-2020 operational program (procedure code IG524D).

These grants aim to subsidize projects that include one or more of the following actions:
- Measures to protect employees and customers in workspaces, such as:
- Protective screens for counters and cash register areas.
- Adhesive vinyl for marking safe areas on the floor, customer flow markings, positioning markings, and interpersonal safety distance markings.
- Capacity control devices and customer counting systems or other systems to ensure distance between customers.
- Temperature control devices.
- Any other measure recommended by the health authorities that increases the protection of employees and customers.
- Adaptation of workspaces to reduce customer contact with elements or surfaces and prevent contamination, such as:
- Automatic door openings.
- Installation of self-payment points.
- Light sensors.
- Any other measure or device to minimize contact.
- Acquisition of protective and hygiene supplies for employees and customers, including individual protective masks, masks for company personnel, gloves, shoe covers, automatic hydroalcoholic gel dispensers, and any other personal protection suitable for the specific activities carried out by the company. The amount allocated to this category cannot exceed 20% of the total eligible actions; consequently, no project can consist solely of actions covered by this section.
- Installation of equipment for disinfection of surfaces, environments, and products.
- Contracting of services to reinforce cleaning of premises and periodic disinfection. The amount allocated to this category cannot exceed 20% of the total eligible actions, for a maximum service period of 6 months. Consequently, no project can consist solely of actions covered by this section.
- Acquisition of equipment or implementation of works to enable ventilation and air renewal in the establishment.
- Signage and information points, physical or digital, regarding COVID-19 prevention measures implemented in the establishment.
- Exceptionally, other measures that contribute to protecting the health of entrepreneurs, employees, and customers against COVID-19, which will be justified in the granting resolution.
- Specific training for workers to apply protocols adapted to COVID-19 regulations and health recommendations.
- External expenses (consultancy, analysis, certification costs, and similar) related to obtaining certifications for protocol compliance and measures.
Eligible expenses and investments made between March 15, 2020, and the deadline for justification established in the granting resolution will be subsidized.
The amount of the grant will be 80% of the eligible costs, with a maximum limit of €3,000 per applicant.
- The deadline for submitting aid applications will begin on the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of Galicia and will end on July 31, 2020. Diario Oficial de Galicia y finalizará el 31 de julio de 2020
- The deadline for submitting the payment request and project execution justification will be on the date established in the granting resolution, which cannot exceed October 30, 2020.
