Self-employed individuals who receive the COVID-19 cessation of activity financial aid will continue to receive the benefit even if they reopen their businesses and resume their activities during the de-escalation period.
A total of 1,154,195 self-employed workers received the financial assistance for cessation of activity or a 75% reduction in income on Thursday. This assistance was approved on March 17 following the declaration of the state of alarm, as detailed in a statement by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migrations.
